A Maximum of
5
entries may be entered on a "Points" night and 5 on a Non-Points night.
NEW for 2013 : "Double" theme nights. Two themes will be presented to choose from. One modeler can win both awards, but they must be separate models/entries. If subjects for only one theme are present, only one theme, Best of Show award will be given for that level.
Note:
All "Theme" contests are open to ALL entries.
However, only models that match the "theme" are eligible
for the "Best of Show" awards and points in each skill level for
that
night, and will subsequently become an eligible candidate for the "Model of the
Year" competition showdown in December.

Aug 13 2010 - Nationals Debrief Night - Bring your winning models and trophies, new kits, references, decals, war stories and scuttlebutt to share with other ASM members and celebrate our club's good competitive showing at the 2010 IPMS Nationals. Cake, caviar and champagne for all present (well, cake anyway). No model contest scheduled due to the proximity of IPMS National Convention in Phoenix, AZ, which will run from Aug 4 to Aug 7, 2010.

Oct 1 2010 - Special Contest # 4 Blitzkrieg! - any model, any scale, depicting a subject from the early days of WWII, from the German invasion of Poland in September 1939 through the Fall of France in June 1940. A wide variety of Allied and German aircraft, armor, figures, ships and dioramas can be built to fit this theme. Themed models entered in previous contests are welcome in this Special Contest, per guidelines in ASM contest rules. The club is arranging for a special guest speaker to correspond with the contest theme.
Nov 5 2010 - Fall Points Contest - Open: any model, any scale, any era (final points contest to determine Modeler of the Year in each skill level).
Dec 3 2010 - Sponsored Contest - Mercedes Daimler-Benz by Patrick Dick Any car, truck, bus or other vehicle produced by this premier German auto company, or any subject powered by a Daimler-Benz engine. (Contest Director's Note: I visited the Mercedes Museum in Stuttgart, Germany and can attest there are an infinite variety of model subjects that can fit this theme. Good choice, Patrick!) Plus Model of the Year Contest (Competition among Best of Show winners at each skill level from all of the 2010 Points and Special Contests).
